The Best Made Plans...

Sometimes trips just don't go as planned.
That clarifies last weekend.

Excited and ready for anything - we thought.

 Nothing could stand in our way of a great time...

Not even BATS in the cabin.

 We were all smiles until.....

 until... THIS GROUP PHOTO.

 immediately after this moment was captured, I slipped off a roll bar and whacked every possible bar and board on the way down.

Pain.

But, I powered through with a little icepack help...

And we were smiling again...

UNTIL...
Just after this moment.
When Lena fell from treaded steps, cracked her ribs on the concrete support slab, and rolled down the mountainside.
Extreme pain.
Packing up.
Bumpy trip back to civilization.
Emergency room visit.

Don't worry. Lena is alright. Going to be sore for 3 weeks or so. Nothing broken - might as well have been.
Raincheck needed.
