This Was An Especially Sad Scene

Our neighborhood Goodwill donation center burned down yesterday.  Scattered charred items were all that remained.  Who would do such a thing?  This trailer is in the parking lot of the park around the corner from our house.  We drop things off there all the time.

This is only one of THREE that have been torched this week.

Goodwill Industries International spokesman Ken Berman said one of the organization's donations trailers was set on fire just after midnight Wednesday. The fire spread to the Goodwill building at Olive and Airport drives, forcing the store to close Wednesday.

Donation trailers at two other Goodwill stores were torched overnight, but no other closures are planned, Berman said.

Police and the fire department is investigating.
