Saying Goodbye Has Never Been More Difficult

First to Mom.

Which meant that I/we really live here and California never felt so far away.

Then the phone call came.

Saying goodbye to Gramps, a life well lived, a truly great man.

The combination of events made the tears flow like Niagara.
