A little baby porn for your pleasure!
IT'S A BOY!!!
Matt and I went in at 16 weeks and 3 days for our check-up and the doctor told us that she wasn't going to be doing an ultrasound until 20 weeks. We were all geared-up to find out what we were having - it was quite the let down. Of course, we heard the heartbeat again, but somehow it was less exciting once we had learned that we weren't going to be seeing the baby - or finding out the gender.
My friend Laura is in town from Utah with her husband Andy and their 1mo.3wk old baby boy Jackson. Seeing them last night just made me miss the times when we shared a hometown. I love friends that you can talk with - like you saw them yesterday - when in actuality, you haven't seen them in 4+ years.

This week, I will be released from Dr. Ayyagari - as I will have passed my 1st trimester, where most critical development and problems arise. I was rather excited to get to see Dr. Crenshaw again. She is SO MUCH better at talking to me. Dr. Ayyagari has this little problem with dwelling on the worst possible scenarios - going into grave detail about each - BUT not giving much information on WHY he chooses to do the tests and treatments he selects. Slightly frustrating, especially as my hormones fluctuate.
