Matt and I went in at 16 weeks and 3 days for our check-up and the doctor told us that she wasn't going to be doing an ultrasound until 20 weeks. We were all geared-up to find out what we were having - it was quite the let down. Of course, we heard the heartbeat again, but somehow it was less exciting once we had learned that we weren't going to be seeing the baby - or finding out the gender. We scheduled an appointment for 3 days later (Monday) for an "entertainment only" Gender Determining Ultrasound.
