Here are some of the 3d/4d shots from yesterday's appointment!   The lady wanted us to tell her which one of us he looked most like... we didn't have a clue.

He wasn't active AT ALL - so sadly, we have several pictures of him doing, well, ... this.  Sleeping.  Sleeping with his feet touching his HEAD, and his hands no where to be seen because he was sitting on them!

You can kind of make out the side-profile of his face here, next to his feet.  No, he doesn't have a hole in his head, it just looks really dark there due to the amniotic fluids.

I made my costume again this year...They don't really have very many "pregnant" options in the stores these days. 

I think my costume was "fitting," for my current predicament!

Veterans Elementary Cafeteria

This last summer, our school cafeteria devoted a wall to the 1st students and teachers to attend our campus - as well as our American Veterans.

Not quite huge enough...

21.5 weeks:

Feeling tight. VERY, VERY tight!  Wish it were a six-pack in some ways!  

20 weeks

All checked out perfectly so far!  Ten toes, ten fingers, two legs, two arms, no cleft pallet, at least one ear.  He's measuring 10" long - which is a HUGE difference from a month ago!

Hard to see... He's sitting on the screen, you can make out buttocks, legs (sort of) and the arrow is pointing to his little boy parts.

The suspense

Matt and I went in at 16 weeks and 3 days  for our check-up and the doctor told us that she wasn't going to be doing an ultrasound until 20 weeks.  We were all geared-up to find out what we were having - it was quite the let down.  Of course, we heard the heartbeat again, but somehow it was less exciting once we had learned that we weren't going to be seeing the baby - or finding out the gender.  

We scheduled an appointment for 3 days later (Monday) for an "entertainment only" Gender Determining Ultrasound.  

Meet Jackson!

My friend Laura is in town from Utah with her husband Andy and their 1mo.3wk old baby boy Jackson.  Seeing them last night just made me miss the times when we shared a hometown.  I love friends that you can talk with - like you saw them yesterday - when in actuality, you haven't seen them in 4+ years.

My sister Melissa has taken a need and created a hobby - which has since turned into a side-business!  She has started making custom dog collars!  THEY ARE REALLY CUTE  (Not to mention well made, with a few new "handy features" that you can't buy in stores.)!
