Matt and his Navy guys have wanted to get a tattoo together for years.
They have finally settled on a design.
It's a Hawaiian Tribal Ohana (family) tattoo.
The tattoo has quite a bit of meaning hidden within:
The dolphins are a call of protection and friendship. There is a lizard for good luck upon the bearer's family (turtle) which is placed in the center of everything. It is surrounded by Korus (unfolding fern shoots = rebirth). The ray itself indicates wisdom and this whole tattoo design is meant to tell that a wise and lucky life revolves around true friendships, renewed day after day.
Matt went in on Friday morning to have his done.
Five hours spent starring at the ground - and the tattoo was completed.
Okay, Chris and Marc -- Your turn!
