Stolen Pictures Taken by Auntie Moe

Moe took Carter the other week when Matt was working the weekend, and I woke up covered in hives. Then, she took these adorable pics of Carter and her girls pal'in around at her place!  I swiped them off her blog.  Thanks Moe!

Another Shameless Plug.

My girl, Laura started up a second blog, and I have been captivated and entertained.  Maybe it's because I can almost hear her saying the things she's written.  Maybe it's because we are in a similar place in life... who knows.

I think there's going to be something for everyone.

IT'S A FOOD BLOG.  Tried and true.  Recipes included.
Check it out.

Yum.

Upcoming CF Walk!

The 20th of March is when we will be doing the Cystic Fibrosis walk this year.

This is Matt and I's 5th year doing the walk in memory and honor of my dear friend, Heidi Schroeder.

Last year, even Carter walked.

And again this year,
Our wonderful friends, Kari and Kourtney from Great Harvest Bread are willing to contribute coffee and bread -- free of charge to the cause.  It wouldn't be the same without them!
Matt went over to their business today and purchased about $100 worth of yummy treats and we are making a raffle basket out of the goodies.  Hopefully, it will make the CF Organization some much needed money in the silent auction!

Come on out if you live in Bakersfield... 8:30am - 12:30pm @ RiverWalk Park!

Backyard Bliss

Walking well -- entices a new freedom to explore
and that's right... my son chooses DANDELIONS!!
Such a wise one.
He loves me.
He loves me not.
He loves me.

One year old ... and out shooting with the fam!

Last weekend, we went out and did a little target practice with some new guns.
Carter and Grandpa came along!

Aren't his little camo pants the greatest?!

Checking out the ear protection -- he wasn't too sure of it.
He kept removing them from his head, so we had to stay in the truck most of the time.
He enjoyed himself anyways.
Can't you just hear his giggle...
... and this is why -- Daddy was playing Peek-a-Boo out the window!

Our little Michelin Man
Proudly posing by the targets.
