I don't think I'll ever get used to this.

Matt Got New Tattoos -- So Carter Needed Some Too
The kids names and their birthdates...
Carter "got" our names and our birth year.
Carter "got" our names and our birth year.
Don't worry - I won't quit my day job. My sharpie tattoo skills need a bit of work.
I love that it bends into his pits. Lol!
Lake Houston Access - Right Down the Street!
Apparently, I haven't explored enough. With Jordan and Cole headed our way pulling their boat, I had to go and figure out how to get on the lake. IT IS RIGHT DOWN THE STREET! Less than 3 minutes away, tucked behind the trees with a huge park area adjacent is the boat ramp. Who knew!

Trying to Wear Him out is Exhausting.
We cleaned the house, went for a walk to a park. Played their in the sweltering humidity. Walked back (dragging the dog). Did 30 minutes of a cardio training video. AND YET HE IS STILL NOT TIRED. How is this possible?
The treadmill is my last hope. He thinks running on it is a game.

The Best of Friends
Eating together
And CAUGHT drinking together inside the pantry. Weird.
And they giggle away - they're like a little club.

My New Room Needs Some Major TLC
I got let inside for a sneak peek today. There is no electricity yet, no AC, and no WINDOWS.
But, I'll figure out a way to make it mine.

Capturing Kids Hearts - and Mine
The perfect group of people to travel to a 3 day conference with. My new friends.
It's creepy when I tried to create a panoramic selfie...
The grounds in Round Top
Here is our lecture room
Every room had its own "theme"
We laughed at this sign the first day when we climbed them. Leave it to me to tumble down the stair case the next morning.
It was ridiculously steep and only just wider than a ladder.
The nine of us "Tried" to sit in the stairwell for a picture afterwards -- IT WAS SO HARD TO NOT TUMBLE DOWNWARD. Made me feel a bit better about falling.
On our last day, we found the illusive LONGHORN cow! It does in fact exist! Maybe someday I will find unicorns as well.
We named this one "Big Tex" and he will be our mascot this year at school.
I liked this. Found it painted on the wall in the kitchen of our cottage.
Keirsten is buff -- she pulled the doorknob straight off!
On our way home - we took Keirsten (NEW YORK) to her first Buckee's.
I finally belong at Lakeshore Elementary, thanks to these women and this opportunity.
