When You Can't Fix It

Carter crashed into a bench at daycare.  This is how he looked when Matt picked him up.  Today, he has a black eye that is raised and puffy.  The deep red mark in this picture is now a bloody-looking scrape.  

Poor little guy.

Deceptively Delicious

We bought a new cookbook - it's called Deceptively Delicious. Its formatted to add fruit and veg. into everyday recipes - without tasting them.  

We spent 4.5 hours last Sunday pureeing every fruit and vegetable under the sun.  Hopefully, we'll be successful at sneaking them into every meal we make from here on out.  Carter has decided that he's anti-healthy foods.  Strange.  That's all we fed him for about 6 months straight.  Now, all he wants is carbs.  Wish us luck.

Out With the Old, In With the New

Carter is getting too heavy for the beloved baby swing.  It is sad.  I love that thing. He's beginning to tilt it sideways when riding in it... not safe.
So, we began looking into kid sized furniture - something he might be interested in sitting in - AND STAYING PUT in.

Matt found this toddler sized recliner on one of those "deal of the day" sites.  It's made of micro suede material - WHICH IS AWESOME STUFF, nothing stains it!
