An Obsession

After "Christmas Take Five" with Grandpa,

Carter became rather obsessed with his new Tonka Truck!

The following day,

Carter sat at the door screaming

until we went outside and played with it....

again, and again, and again.

This year, Christmas was strung-out throughout an entire week. Carter was diagnosed with pneumonia on the 24th which, needless to say, changed our holiday plans slightly. Two antibiotic injections in his thighs and a "Z-pack" later, Carter was sent home to rest. We weren't able to entice him to open or play with very many presents on Christmas day. We filmed it nonetheless.

Here's the beginning of our Christmas celebrations:

"Uh-Oh"

Should this count as his first two-word phrase? I'm unsure.

Either way, Carter has picked up on saying "uh-oh" right after, or just before CHUCKING items on purpose to the floor. It was cute at first... but at times it can be a bit demanding!
